Privacy Policy

Mechnovate Solutions (“Mechnovate”, “we”) is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data collected through this website. This policy is our notice under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) and the rules made under it, together with the Information Technology Act, 2000. It explains what personal data we collect, why, and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Personal Data We Collect

We collect only the data needed for the purposes in section 2. Depending on what you do on the website, this includes:

• Enquiry and quotation forms: name, phone / WhatsApp number, email, company name, GSTIN, address, city, state, pincode, the machine and accessories you choose, and any message you write.
• Catalogue and call-back requests: name, phone number and email.
• Reviews and testimonials: your name, company, rating, review text and any photos you upload.
• Visit data: pages viewed, referring page, browser and device details, and approximate location (city, state, country) derived from your IP address.
• Communication records: our replies to you, including quotations and messages sent on WhatsApp, email or phone.

We do not knowingly collect personal data of children. Our products are for businesses; please do not submit a child’s data. If you believe a child’s data has been submitted, contact us and we will delete it.

2. Why We Use It

We process your personal data only for these specified purposes:

• Responding to you: preparing and sending quotations, answering questions, arranging demonstrations, delivery, installation and after-sales support.
• Records and legal compliance: GST invoicing, accounting, warranty and records we must keep by law.
• Updates you ask for: product updates, offers and event invitations, only where you have agreed. You can say stop at any time.
• Improving the website: understanding which pages are used so we can improve them, and keeping the site secure and free of abuse.

3. Consent

When you submit a form, you give us your free, specific and informed consent to use the data you entered for the purposes in section 2 that relate to that form, for example to prepare and send your quotation on WhatsApp. We ask only for the data needed for that purpose.

You may withdraw your consent at any time as easily as you gave it, by writing to us at the contact details in section 9. Withdrawal does not affect processing already done, and we may need to keep some records where the law requires.

4. Security

We apply reasonable security safeguards to protect personal data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls that limit who can view enquiry data, server-side checks on administrative functions, and secure hosting. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.

If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform the Data Protection Board of India and the affected persons in the manner required by the DPDP Act and Rules.

5. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising Tools

This website uses cookies and similar technologies. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the website is used, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and a similar advertising pixel to measure our advertising and to show relevant ads on those platforms. These services receive data such as your IP address, device details and the pages you view, and may set their own cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use the opt-out controls of those providers. The website works without them, although some features may be limited.

6. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it for us under our instructions, and with authorities when the law requires:

• Our customer-management (CRM) system, which prepares quotations and sends them to you on WhatsApp.
• Cloud hosting and database providers that store website and enquiry data.
• Messaging services such as WhatsApp, and email providers, used to contact you.
• Analytics and advertising providers named in section 5.
• Logistics partners, where needed to deliver a machine you have ordered.

Some of these providers may process data on servers outside India. We transfer personal data outside India only as permitted by the DPDP Act and any restrictions the Government of India notifies.

7. How Long We Keep It

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal, tax and warranty requirements. Enquiry data that does not lead to a sale is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed. When the purpose is complete, or you withdraw consent, we erase the data unless the law requires us to keep it.

8. Your Rights Under the DPDP Act

As a Data Principal you have the right to:

• Access: get a summary of the personal data we hold about you, what we do with it, and who we have shared it with.
• Correction and completion: ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data and update outdated data.
• Erasure: ask us to erase your data when it is no longer needed for its purpose.
• Withdraw consent: at any time, as described in section 3.
• Grievance redressal: have your complaint about how we handle your data addressed, as described in section 9.
• Nominate: name another person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become unable to do so.

To use any of these rights, email or call us using the details below and tell us what you want and the phone number or email you used on the website, so we can find your records. We may ask you to confirm your identity.

9. Contact and Grievance Redressal

For questions about this policy, to exercise your rights, or to make a complaint, contact our Grievance Officer. We will acknowledge your request promptly and respond within the time the DPDP Rules prescribe. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The date above shows when it was last revised. Where a change affects how we use data you have already given us, we will ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
